Mr. Peter Spalitto
Middle School Math/Science Teacher
We are delighted to welcome Mr. Peter Spalitto to our SJE teaching staff. Mr. Spalitto attended the University of Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music with two supplemental majors in Pre-Med/Health Studies and Spanish. Mr. Spalitto displays a drive for a wide variety of subjects as demonstrated by his impressive three majors. As a pianist, he possesses a strong passion for the arts and has a particular interest in liturgical music and the priceless role it plays in the Church.
Mr. Spalitto has teaching experience in a variety of areas including work in Guatemala. In addition, he mentored 50 first-year college students with a focus on academics, social, and emotional well-being during their transition to college, and he served as a college tutor for over 40 students in Calculus, Chemistry, and Theory. Mr. Spalitto is fluent in Spanish and served as an English as a Second Language Instructor. He enjoys musical theater and liturgical Music Ministry. He worked with high school students and performed three musicals.
As you can see, Mr. Spalitto brings many gifts to his position as Middle School Math/Science teacher. His gift of music will enhance our fine arts programs and liturgical music ministry as well.
